Provides a one-time emergency loan for individuals and families who are at risk of losing their home. Loans can be used to pay rent and utilities, as well as for security deposits. Loan recipients are expected to repay their loan monthly, typically over the course of two to three years; one-to-one financial literacy counselling is provided. Grants are limited but may be available to select applicants, depending on time of application and region. All applicants must complete an online pre-assessment form. Serves 100 Mile House, Burns Lake, Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Fort Nelson, Fort St John, Houston, Kitimat, Mackenzie, Prince George, Quesnel, Smithers, Terrace, Tumbler Ridge, Wells, and Williams Lake. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
