Chetwynd Outreach Program

Provides emergency response and crisis support services to women who have experienced physical or sexual assault, emotional abuse, historical child abuse, or whose children have experienced or witnessed violence. Services include individual supportive counselling and advocacy; accompaniment through the judicial, social services, and medical systems; form completion assistance; and referrals and liaison with community services. Offers support groups for women who are in or have been in abusive relationships. Also offers community awareness education addressing violence against women. Hours are 8 am to 3 pm Monday to Thursday; program hours vary. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
