Supports the well-being of children, youth, and families, especially those who are vulnerable, through child protection services. Also offers family support services, and services for children and youth with support needs. Other services coordinated through central provincial offices include intake and screening; helplines and after-hours support; resources and referral; funding and benefits programs; and specialized treatment for disabilities, mental health issues, and substance use. Serves the Saanich Peninsula, including Brentwood Bay, Central Saanich, North Saanich, Saanichton, Sidney, and Gulf Islands. Office hours are 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
