Provides day camp for children and youth ages six to 18 who are permanent residents and have experienced migration-related trauma or acculturation stress, have experienced or witnessed abuse, or have a mental health diagnosis. Participants share experiences, identify and talk about their feelings, improve self-esteem, and enhance communication and conflict resolution skills. Guests from Delta and Surrey police and fire departments educate participants about the impact of abuse, street violence, and bullying at schools. Camps are free of charge.
