Works with the Chinese community to enhance the accessibility of police services to this community. Services include crime reporting, public education on crime prevention and personal safety, and Mandarin and Cantonese translation and interpretation. The Victim Services Program includes information and referral regarding the criminal justice system and court processes, information on the investigation and progress of court cases, liaison with police and court services, court accompaniment, safety planning, assistance completing victim impact statements, and assistance in applying for the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP). Hours are 9:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Saturday; closed on statutory holidays. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
