Service Description
Gives hope and support to vulnerable individuals and families through the provision of social services and practical assistance focusing on the basic necessities of life. Helps meet the immediate and short-term needs of people in distress through emergency assistance with food, thrift store vouchers for clothing and household goods, lay counselling, and emergency disaster services. Offers Free Income Tax Return assistance for low-income individuals whose gross income is less than $35,000 per year; runs year-round. The Street Pack program offers bags of food to the homeless community from 2 pm to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Provides Emergency Food Hampers and Christmas Hampers. Also operates a thrift store at this location; listed separately. Office hours are 10 am to 12:30 pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays by appointment.
