Service Description

Gives hope and support to vulnerable individuals and families through the provision of social services and practical assistance focusing on the basic necessities of life. Helps meet the immediate and short-term needs of people in distress through emergency assistance with food, thrift store clothing and household good vouchers, lay counselling, and emergency disaster services. Offers telephone outreach and visitation to seniors, and a seniors' drop-in program 10 am to 1 pm Wednesdays from September to June. Also operates food programs and a thrift store at this location; listed separately. Serves Kelowna. Hours are 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4 pm Monday to Wednesday, 1 pm to 4 pm Thursdays, and 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 3 pm Fridays.
