Community and Family Services - Prince George

Gives hope and support to vulnerable individuals and families through the provision of social services and practical assistance focusing on the basic necessities of life. Helps meet the immediate and short-term needs of people in distress through emergency assistance with food, thrift store clothing and household good vouchers, lay counselling, and emergency disaster services. Also offers bus tickets, infant care supplies, back-to-school supplies for children, and assistance with prescription costs. Provides pet food on Tuesdays and Thursdays in partnership with the SPCA. Also operates food programs and a thrift store at this location; listed separately. Serves Prince George. Office hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
