Community and Family Services - Vernon

Helps meet the immediate and short-term needs of people in distress through emergency assistance with food, thrift store clothing and household goods vouchers, emergency disaster services, and lay counselling. Building Blocks drop-in play group for children ages two to five is offered from 10 am to 11:30 am Tuesdays. NextGen Youth offers games and activities for youth ages ten to sixteen from 7 pm to 9 pm on Fridays; supper is provided. Art Expressions drop-in art program for women is offered from 9:30 am to 12 noon on Thursdays. Serves Vernon, Coldstream, and Falkland. Office hours are 9 am to 12 noon and 1:30 pm to 4 pm Mondays, and 9 am to 12 noon and 1:30 pm to 4 pm Tuesday to Friday.
