Community-based residential facilities (CBRF) provide safe, secure housing and wraparound supports to men on parole or conditional release with residency conditions from federal or provincial correctional institutions. 24/7 staffing provides structure, monitoring, and support for individual needs and community safety, while ensuring individuals receive the support they need in areas such as addiction, mental health, employment, and education to succeed while reintegrating into the community. Facilities include Elliot House (604-859-9266, Abbotsford), Hobden House (604-585-4493, Surrey), Tims Manor (604-872-5651 Local 310, Abbotsford), and Miyáqˈelhá:wetawt for Indigenous persons (604-872-5651 Local 310, Abbotsford). Individuals may apply by requesting a screening from their Parole Officer. CBRFs are operated under contract with Correctional Service of Canada (CSC).
