Community-based Victim Services - Dease Lake

Provides victim services and crisis intervention to all people in the region, regardless of race, religion, gender, or other beliefs. While technically funded to provide community-based victim services, also often helps victims or witnesses of other crimes as well, due to the remoteness of the community. Services include support and information for those attending court, assistance in applying for legal aid and compensation, help in preparing Victim Impact Statements, and explanation of court processes, and assistance. Does not offer Third Party Reporting. This sub-office serves Dease Lake, Good Hope Lake, Iskut, and Telegraph Creek. Office hours are 8:30 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Services provided as part of the Ku We Gahn Justice Program. Funding provided by the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
