Community Based Victim Services - Fort St John

Offers emotional support, court preparation and accompaniment, and assistance in the completion of forms to women, children, and men who have been victims of sexual and/or violent crimes. Services include support, advocacy, court orientation and accompaniment, assistance with form completion, information about the criminal justice system, safety planning, assistance with lifting no contact orders, and referral to other services as required. Does not offer Third Party Reporting. Serves Fort St John and surrounding area, including Charlie Lake, Chetwynd, Hudson's Hope, Rose Prairie, and Taylor. Hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funding provided by the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
