Supports newcomers to Canada as they progress along their settlement processes within their new community. Offers educational classes, support groups for women, relationship building, social activities, and community events to help newcomers build connections. Programming may include conversation circles, citizenship preparation, driving knowledge test preparation, parenting groups, social recreation, and wellness sessions. A friendship-based program also matches immigrants and refugees with Canadian volunteers who can support them with language practice, expanding social networks, and learning about Canadian culture. Classes and events are by registration. Hours vary seasonally.
