Community Connections Program

Provides settlement services that include information and education for immigrants and refugees living in Surrey and Delta to encourage community engagement and involvement. Services include language classes, citizenship preparation classes, community engagement opportunities, Indigenous connections activities, and volunteer training and placement. Also offers youth leadership and life skills training, and other youth engagement opportunities for newcomer youth, including communication skills training and teamwork opportunities. Eligible clients include permanent residents, refugees, protected persons, refugee claimants, temporary foreign workers, and international students as well as naturalized citizens and their children.
