Comox Valley RCMP Victim Services
Serves victims of all types of crime, including those injured and bereaved by accused that have not been identified or charged. Provides emotional support and practical assistance such as court orientation and accompaniment, form completion assistance, liaison with justice system personnel, and referrals to other community agencies. Also provides information about topics relating to the criminal justice system, including court proceedings, case status, and hearing dates. Also provides emotional support and referrals to victims of trauma unrelated to crime or the justice system. Serves Comox Valley (Black Creek, Comox, Courtenay, Cumberland, Denman Island, Fanny Bay, Hornby Island, Merville, and Union Bay). Office hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funding provided by the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
