Complex Pain and Addiction Services (CPAS)

Provides pain assessment and treatment services, and addiction/chemical dependency consultation to patients admitted to Vancouver General Hospital, at the request of the doctor or any member of the health care team. Patients and their significant others are counselled according to their specific needs during hospitalization, and referred to treatment agencies and self-help groups upon discharge. Also offers educational sessions to patients and their significant others, service providers, and community groups. Office hours are 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
