Confident Parents: Thriving Kids - Anxiety Program

Provides a free family-focused coaching service for parents of children ages three to 12 with mild to moderate anxiety. Program includes short educational online videos supported by weekly telephone coaching sessions, to build parents' skills in supporting their children. Coaching is delivered at flexible times over four to six weeks to parents and caregivers across BC. Incorporates concepts from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). Referral required from a family doctor, pediatrician, or Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) mental health clinician. Funded by the Province of British Columbia.
