Consumer Initiative Fund (CIF)

Funds and supports projects that are proposed, managed, and led by people with lived experience of mental health issues or addiction. The Education and Leisure Fund provides funding of up to $400 to mental health consumers for education and leisure courses or activities; individuals must be a resident of Vancouver and receiving mental health and/or addiction services in Vancouver. The Crisis Grant provides a grant of up to $85 to Vancouver adult mental health consumers who are experiencing significant financial strain due to unexpected circumstances, when no other funding is available; referral required by a health care worker.
