Provides low-cost dental care for people who are on income assistance, have a disability, have First Nations or refugee status, and those on parole. Fixed or low income earners receive a 20% discount off rates recommended by the BC Dental Association. Serves those with multiple barriers in accessing dental treatment. Dental services include; examinations, x-rays, fillings, extractions, cleaning, polishing, fluoride treatment, root canal treatment, complete and partial dentures, and emergency care. All patients are seen on a drop-in basis, by lining up outside and waiting for names to be drawn by lottery at 8:30 am Tuesday to Friday. If additional appointments become available that day, another draw is done at 11:30 am. Clinic hours are 9 am to 4 pm Tuesday to Friday.
