Provides services to victims of all types of crime, including those injured and bereaved by accused that have not been identified or charged. Provides emotional support, and practical assistance such as court orientation and accompaniment, form completion assistance, and liaison with justice system personnel. Also offers information about the criminal justice system, court proceedings, case status, and hearing dates. Provides referrals to community resources as needed. Serves Boswell, Crawford Bay, Creston, Erickson, Gray Creek, Kingsgate, Kitchener, Kootenay Bay, Lower Kootenai Band, Riondel, Sirdar, Wynndel, and Yahk. Office hours are 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday. Funding provided by the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
