Cultural Programs

Provides a range of cultural programs for urban Indigenous children and youth, with an emphasis on children and youth in care, their caregivers, relevant family, and community members. The Cultural Continuity Worker supports urban Indigenous children and youth in care to build and maintain meaningful connection to their ancestral territories, community knowledge keepers, and sense of cultural identity. XE'XU T'ULUTS'THUT Youth Leadership (Sacred Circle) is a culturally-based leadership program for Indigenous, Metis, and non-Indigenous youth to deepen self-identity, stewardship, and individual growth. Other cultural programming activities include spring and summer break cultural camps, child and youth workshops, coming of age ceremonies, and aging out of care ceremonies.
