The SWIFT Program aims to address continuity of care in supporting at-risk youth ages 13 to 24 (who deal with issues such as homelessness, substance use and mental health challenges, exploitation, and poverty), with the coordinated partnership of the City of Abbotsford, the Abbotsford Police Department, the Ministry of Children and Family Development along with Cyrus Centre. Connects youth to community services; provides basic needs including food, harm reduction supplies, and housing; and responds to victimization, exploitation, and abuse. Funded by the City of Abbotsford, the Province of BC, and the Government of Canada.
