Provides emergency response and crisis support services to women who have experienced or witnessed physical or sexual assault, historical child abuse, or whose children have been affected by family violence. Services include individual supportive counselling and advocacy; accompaniment through the judicial, social services, and medical systems; form completion assistance; and referrals and liaison with community services. Offers support groups for women who are in or have been in abusive relationships. Also offers community awareness education addressing violence against women. Office hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
