Domestic Violence Intervention Program (DVIP)

Delivers specialized therapeutic intervention services to perpetrators of domestic violence that promotes the safety of their children and partners. Addresses the impact of abuse and family violence on their children’s lives and enhances the men’s capability to interact in a caring and respectful manner with his children and partner. Provides one-to-one therapeutic intervention and a Caring Dads group, focused on parenting without violence or coercion. Also serves female and/or LGBTQI2S perpetrators. Also offers Mom's Empowerment Group for mothers who have experience abuse in their intimate relationships. Referrals from MCFD given priority. Also accepts self-referrals as well as referrals from social workers and other community workers.
