Eagle Harbour

Provides 36 subsidized, transitional housing units as a supportive second-stage program for women (cisgender and transgender) and non-binary and Two-Spirit people, with or without children, who have experienced violence or who are at risk of violence, as well as those who are impacted by abuse, homelessness and/or substance misuse. Accepts children up to age 19. Services include information and referrals, advocacy, tenancy readiness, and support with life skills, recovery, and health and well-being. Residents must participate in the program, including attending meetings and working towards their goals. Participants may also attend support groups run at Rose Harbour for residents and women in the community. Maximum stay is two years. Also offers 19 units of long-term, subsidized housing for vulnerable women age 55 and over. A risk assessment determines applicant priority for the program. Personal ID is required. Wheelchair accessible. Pets are allowed. Applications are available online or from the office. Office hours 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by BC Housing.
