Offers free information, referral, and support services related to child development, early learning programs, and child care to parents in the Golden area. The Parent-Child Mother Goose program helps build communication between parents and their young children and develop skills of parents and children; also assists families to get to know other families. Baby Talk is a series of free parenting classes for parents with infants. Also offers Family Dinner Play and Learn, a Language Enrichment Group, and an Ages and Stages Questionnaire. The Early Years Centre is co-located with the local Child Care Resource and Referral (CCRR) Office and a toy lending library. Serves Blaeberry, Field, Golden, Nicholson, and Parson. Office hours are 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
