Provides services to individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, in particular women who have experienced violence or are at risk of violence. Helps individuals access rental housing in the private market, through support services such as referrals to housing options, information on other housing subsidies, housing search assistance, one-time fees to get set-up (i.e damage deposit, utility connection fees, moving etc), and rent supplements. Serves Elkford, Fernie, and Sparwood. Funded as a Homeless Prevention Program (HPP) by BC Housing.
