Provides specialized and intensive outreach counselling and and psychoeducational services for children and youth ages seven to 18 and their families who are experiencing difficulties with the child or youth's mental health. The focus is to help increase emotional stability, understanding of diagnosis, parent-child connection, parenting capacity, interpersonal/coping and life skills, family coping strategies, and involvement with other resources. Referral is required from a Kelowna or West Kelowna Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) team. Office hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
