Family Counselling

Service Description

Provides free counselling for parents, couples, and families with children age 18 or under, who live in Surrey or White Rock; counselling may also be available for children. Counselling is short term (up to 10 sessions within six months), and deals with topics such as relationships, separation/divorce, blended families, parent-child conflict, self-esteem, depression or anxiety, anger, childhood abuse or neglect, parenting issues, and stress. Service is offered in English; other languages may be available via translation. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday by appointment; evening appointments are also available. Referral is required by Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
