Provides support, counselling, information, and referrals to mental health services for clients and their friends and families. Services for friends and families include mental wellness information and educational materials, family education and support groups, and direct mental health and wellness support for families having difficulty with the mental health system of care. Also provides education to other Vancouver mental health service providers. Provides training and education to VCH staff, develops and implements new programs for families, and consults with families, mental health clients, and staff to address any concerns around mental health services. Coordinators work out of various VCH locations; hours vary.
