Assists individuals and families during periods of crisis and/or adjustment, in order to relieve family stress, improve family functioning and long-term stability, and help reduce the incidence of family members referred to and taken into care by Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). Services are time-specific and goal-oriented, and include in-home parenting, assistance with community connections, counselling, intervention, advocacy, parenting education groups, life skills, and mediation.
