Provides short-term in-home support and assistance to families and caregivers of children under age 19 with behavioural and/or emotional problems. Support typically lasts three to six months, with possibility of extension. Aims to strengthen family life and enhance child and family development. Services may include counselling, household management help, referrals, and parent-teen communication support. Referrals accepted from any community service organization or self; Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) referrals are faxed are emailed directly. Serves Britannia Beach, Furry Creek, and Squamish.
