Family Violence Prevention Services

Provides culturally grounded, trauma-informed support to individuals and families impacted by intimate partner and family violence. Female case workers offer individualized and group support to women and gender-diverse survivors of intimate partner violence. A male case worker provides one-on-one and group support for men who have used violence, as well as support for male survivors of intimate partner violence. The program also engages in prevention work, including community outreach, system advocacy to address patterns of violence, and the delivery of training for staff and workshops for the broader public on family violence prevention and decolonization. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
