The Community Soup Kitchen serves a hot lunch from 12 noon to 1 pm Monday to Friday for adults only; families with children are encouraged to use the food bank. Chilliwack Community Food Bank provides groceries to low-income people; registration required. New clients require an appointment to see an intake worker and must present photo identification and proof of address. Food bank hours are 9:30 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 3 pm Monday to Friday. The Pantry offers free fresh produce and other donated food on a first come, first served basis from 10 am to 3:30 pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays; and 2 pm to 6 pm Wednesdays.
