Food Programs - Powell River

Community Luncheons provide a hearty soup, sandwich, and dessert from 11:30 am to 1 pm every Wednesday. Food Bank provides groceries to low-income people; registration required. New clients must present ID, proof of income, and proof of address. Offers fresh produce, bread, and dairy between 12:45 pm and 1:45 pm Mondays and Fridays. Emergency Food Hampers are distributed between 10 am to 12 noon Mondays and Fridays; by appointment only. Eligible individuals and families can receive hampers once every two months. Also provides Christmas Hampers. Mobile Outreach serves hot, healthy meals around town on Wednesday nights: 5 pm to 5:45 pm at Glacier and Joyce, 6 pm to 6:30 pm at Life Cycle housing, and 6:40 pm to 7 pm at Westview Motel.
