The Emergency Food Cupboard assists low-income Delta residents who are in crisis situations by providing emergency food, food vouchers, and bus tickets. In addition, clients are given information on other resources for food available in the community. Throughout the growing season, the Community Garden provides bags of fresh vegetables through spring, summer, and early fall for those in need; they can be picked up at the North Delta office when available. The Bread Gleaning program administers a weekly bread gleaning program that is distributed to various community partners. Also provides Christmas programs for low-income Delta residents and their dependents, such as the Christmas Hamper Project and a Toy Depot. Contact the agency by phone to access these programs.
