Foundry Penticton
Provides free integrated health and social services for youth ages 12 to 24 and their families. Mental health care, substance use services, primary health care, youth and family peer supports, and social services are accessible under one roof. Foundry Work and Education is a supported employment and education program for youth ages 15 to 24 who are experiencing multiple barriers to working, going to school, or completing a training program; helps youth build the skills and experiences they need to achieve their goals. Offers a variety of social programs for youth. Other services include support groups, housing support, legal advocacy, birth control, sexually transmitted infections testing and treatment, pregnancy testing and support, pap tests, blood tests and vaccines, and referrals to specialists. Services are free and confidential; Medical Services Plan (MSP) coverage is required, but will help eligible clients get a BC Care Card. Select services may be offered virtually by phone or videochat; appointment required. Drop-in hours are 11 am to 5 pm Mondays; 9 am to 5 pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; and 1 pm to 5 pm Fridays. Check website for caldendar.
