Provides a one-time emergency loan for individuals and families who are at risk of losing their home. Loans can be used to pay rent and utilities, as well as for security deposits. Loan recipients are expected to repay their loan monthly over two years; one-to-one financial literacy counselling is provided. Also provides grants to select applicants who have been approved during the review process due to income, family size, and other circumstances. All applicants must complete an online pre-assessment form. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Serves Abbotsford, Agassiz, Chilliwack, Harrison, Hope, and Mission.
