In compliance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA), provides public access to records about BC government programs and activities as well as personal information from government records about oneself or on behalf of someone else. Requests can be made via online portal. Individuals must have a BC Services card and email address to receive electronic copies. For paper copies, or if individuals don't have a BC Services card, applications can be submitted online for pickup at a ministry office with valid ID. Application fee is $10 for government information requests; personal information requests are free of charge. Most requests are filled within 30 days.
