Facilitated weekly support groups for 2-spirit, transgender, gender diverse, and questioning individuals. Offers a safe space to process thoughts and feelings about relevant issues associated with gender, and aims to facilitate physical, social, and emotional impacts of gender transition. Outreach community support worker also provides participants with one-on-one support and advocacy, referral, and resources when needed. Gender Journeys is for adults ages 18 and over. Transcend Nanaimo supports youth ages 12 to 17. Registration is required; drop-ins are not accepted. To register, complete the participation form online.
