Works to enhance the accessibility of police services for the Hastings Sunrise neighbourhood community. Services include crime reporting, and public education on crime prevention and personal safety. The HSCPC provides leadership and services to promote safe, healthy and thriving neighbourhoods through volunteer programs including litter cleanup, graffiti removal, safety patrols, and speed deterrence. Also offers the Bridging Divides program - a restorative approach using peace circles to address conflict and build community understanding. Open to Hastings Sunrise neighbourhood residents for most programs. Bridging Divides program available to those who live or work in Hastings Sunrise. Hours are 9:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday and 10 am to 4 pm Saturday. After-hours appointments available by arrangement. Closed Sundays and statutory holidays.
