Provides free career services for survivors of violence or trauma, particularly women. Eligible individuals must be unemployed or underemployed, and be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Program takes an empowerment approach and includes paid occupational skills training, paid work experience, life skills and counselling workshops, one-on-one group sessions, and mentoring and job shadowing. Focus is on the landscaping, nursery, and manufacturing industries. Funded by Government of Canada through the Canada-British Columbia Workforce Development Agreement.
