Also takes steps to prevent injury and minimize the spread of communicable disease, and deals with drinking water safety. Prevents the display, promotion, and sale of tobacco and vapour products to minors, and protects the public and employees from the harmful effects of second-hand smoke through enforcement of provincial legislation.
