Healthy Living Programs
Tailored small group exercise training for individuals with ongoing chronic health conditions. Provides a safe and supportive environment to enhance physical and mental health for members. Works to improve quality of life, encourage self-management, maintain and/or improve physical abilities, boost self-esteem, reduce overall fatigue and improve sleep quality as well as provide peer-support. Choose to Move is a three-month choice-based wellness program to help individuals age 65 and older break down barriers to physical inactivity. Breathe Fit focuses on cardiovascular and muscular strengthening for people living with/recovering from heart and lung conditions. Fit for Bones focuses on exercises for individuals looking to reduce risks of falls and fractures, and improve joint functions, bone density and balance. Stretch Fit combines a strength and cardio work out, with deep, relaxing stretching to balance out the body; open to all. The Healthy Living program offers one-on-one personal coaching to help individuals meet their health and fitness goals. Membership assistance is available for members in need. For more information speak with the program coordinator. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
