Hope Office
Provides help for and promotes healing of Indigenous individuals and communities in BC who have experienced emotional, physical, sexual, and spiritual abuse in residential schools. The Resolution Health Support Program provides emotional, cultural, and mental-health support for Survivors and their families. The Lamathut 24/7 Crisis Line offers immediate, confidential crisis support for anyone experiencing distress related to Residential Schools or intergenerational trauma. Serves BC. The Cultural Support Program connects individuals with Elders and Cultural Support Providers who offer ceremony, teachings, and culturally grounded healing. The 2SLGBTQIA+ Support Program provides culturally grounded emotional and crisis counselling for 2SLGBTQIA+ community members. The MMIWG2S Support Program offers grief support, counselling, and healing programs for families and communities affected by Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People. Counselling Services provide trauma-informed, culturally rooted counselling focused on emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness for Indigenous peoples across British Columbia. The Indian Day Schools Support Program provides emotional and cultural support to former students, families, and communities impacted by Indian Day Schools and assists with settlement applications. The Child Family Trauma Informed Health and Cultural Support Program provides emotional and cultural support to individuals involved in settlement processes such as Jordan's Principle, and Child and Family Services claims. Also provides workshops and presentations upon request. Program hours vary; crisis support is available 24/7. Service request forms are available online; staff will be in touch two weeks after a request, and individuals can also follow up by email. Services are available in person, by phone, or online. Serves Hope. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society and registered charity.
