Hope's Place

Second-stage house for women (cisgender and transgender) with children, who have experienced or are at risk of abuse, violence, or threats. Offers two suites for women and their children age 18 and under. Women are expected to work on housing and life skills goals to successfully transition to independent lives free of abuse and violence. Referrals accepted from first-stage transition homes or community agencies. Maximum length of stay is 12 months; a monthly program fee applies. Can accommodate dogs, cats, gerbils, and birds. Not wheelchair accessible. Funded by BC Housing.
