Supports seniors age 55 and older to access affordable and appropriate housing through information, form completion assistance, and referral to community resources. Knowledgeable about affordable housing, supportive housing, Shelter Aid for Elderly Renters (SAFER), Home Adaptations for Independence (HAFI), rental applications, property tax deferral, and home owner grants. Also provides tenant advocacy, and a weekly rental list. Serves Agassiz and Chilliwack. Office hours are 8 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday; office is closed Fridays during the summer.
