Indigenous Health Services, including Culture Saves Lives, supports cultural and spiritual care by helping Indigenous people in the Downtown Eastside reconnect with or connect for the first time to traditional, spiritual, and cultural practices of wellness. Offers daily programs and connection Monday to Thursday including talking circles, sweat lodge ceremonies, drum making, weekly drumming and singing circles, carving, and other events and gatherings. Indigenous Health Outreach operates throughout the Downtown Eastside, at cultural community events, and across PHS Community Services Society sites.
