Indigenous Supported Child Development (ISCD)

Enables First Nations children up to age 12 who require extra supports to be included in child care settings and communities. Designed to ensure cultural safety and cultural sensitivity for First Nations children and families. Supports children in the areas of physical, cognitive, communicative, social/emotional, and behavioural development. Services include individual planning, extra staffing support for childcare programs, training for families and staff, and referral to other community resources. Open referral. Serves Westbank. Program hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
