Indigenous Youth Victim Services

Employs culturally responsive approaches in supporting Indigenous youth ages 13 to 24 in healing from violence. Provides traditional Indigenous healing opportunities, outreach support, referrals, access to counselling, and assistance navigating legal and judicial matters. Offers third party reporting to Indigenous youth victims of any gender; staff report the assault to police on behalf of the victim who remains anonymous. Accepts referrals from self or other. Hours are 7 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday and 10 am to 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
